Psychotherapy in Weybridge and Online

Initial Consultation

Reaching out for help can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 15 to 20 minute telephone conversation before we begin working together. We'll talk about what's bringing you to counselling, I'll answer any questions you have, and we can explore whether my approach feels right for you. There's no pressure and no obligation.

Individual Counselling

"I accept the great adventure of being me."

Simone de Beauvoir

Sometimes life becomes overwhelming and you need a safe space to process what's happening. Individual counselling gives you that confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences without judgement. I work with adults facing a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties and life transitions. Whether you're going through a specific crisis or simply feeling stuck, we'll work at your pace to help you find clarity and move forward.

Couples Counselling

"Healing yourself heals others"

Relationships can be wonderful, but they're also complex. When communication breaks down or you're facing difficult transitions together, it's easy to feel disconnected or hopeless. Couples counselling offers a space where both of you can be heard and understood. I help couples navigate conflict, improve communication, work through life changes and rebuild intimacy. My role isn't to take sides, but to help you both understand each other better and find ways forward together. Whether you're considering separation or working to strengthen your bond, I'm here to support you both.

Counselling for Young People

Being a teenager or young adult comes with unique challenges. I work with young people aged 14 and over who are struggling with questions of identity, family conflict, loneliness, isolation or simply feeling misunderstood. This is their confidential space (within safeguarding boundaries) where they can talk freely about what's really going on. My aim is to help them feel heard, develop self-understanding and find healthier ways to cope with whatever they're facing. Parents often notice their young person is struggling but don't know how to help. Counselling can provide that neutral, trusted relationship they need.

My Approach

"The ego is nothing other than the focus of conscious attention."

Alan Watts

I work integratively, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what will help you most.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. We'll look at unhelpful thinking patterns that might be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to challenge them. It's structured, goal-focused and particularly helpful for anxiety and depression.

Psychodynamic Therapy

This approach explores how your past experiences and unconscious patterns might be affecting your present. We'll look at recurring themes in your relationships and life, helping you understand the deeper roots of what you're experiencing. It's about gaining insight and making sense of your story.

Client-Centred Therapy

Sometimes you just need someone to truly listen without judgement. Client-centred therapy provides that warm, accepting space where you can explore your feelings at your own pace. I trust that you know yourself best, and my role is to help you access that inner wisdom.

"You are the universe experiencing itself, a local fold in a fabric of a multi-dimensional space time."

Issues I Can Help With

Life throws challenges at all of us, and sometimes we need support to navigate them. I work with people experiencing anxiety in its many forms, from generalised worry to panic attacks. If your self-esteem has taken a hit and you're struggling to see your own worth, we can work on rebuilding that together. Depression can make everything feel heavy and hopeless, and having someone walk alongside you through that darkness makes a real difference.

I have particular experience supporting people through bereavement and loss. Grief is complex and there's no right way through it. I also work with survivors of domestic violence, helping them process trauma, rebuild their sense of self and move towards safety and healing. Relationship difficulties, family conflict and major life transitions are all areas where therapy can help you find your footing again.

For young people specifically, I support those wrestling with questions of identity, feeling isolated or misunderstood, navigating family tensions, or simply trying to work out who they are in this complicated world.

Whatever you're facing, we'll tackle it together.
